Fearless parent's should take action in these times of technology!

This father has over 15 million hits on his daughters Facebook outburst. She claims a life of hard labor and stress living at home as a 15 year old. No job, no drive to do anything has become a downfall with kids these days using devices like their cell phone and Ipods. Well I can relate......and I approve of this message!

The truth is I can relate to these abused allegations of being over worked. We have a fresh teen going on 13 in August and he just began doing anything outside of complaining he does way too much around here. I have talked about paying
him $8 per hour to help with stuffing envelopes as well as other business tasks. He laughs and shruggs off the hourly pay and says, "I'm not doing that for $8 dollars!" Like he has a choice. I say, "Fine, then do it without getting paid!" So he goes on and does what I tell him without earning a buck. To some it may seam harsh but to me It cost a lot these days to keep a cell phone active with internet. We're talking a minimum of $50 a month! These kids should only get a working allowance of $10 per week, after all that's less than what I earned.

At 11 years old I had my first business started mowing grass for the entire neighborhood weekly. If I didn't show up, I would feel bad so I never missed a day. I even had 500 business cards that my dad printed for me. Two days ago my First business in 1987!wife pulled an old notebook out that had notes from me as a kid keeping track of my first new bike purchase. I even spelled Mongoose incorrectly. But I did have list of controlled income to pay off my bike. Who owed me, for what and how much more I needed to get that bike out of Jim's Bicycle Shop located in Deerpark, Ohio. To this day they are still there selling bicycles to kids like me.

Monitoring and access to teenagers' accounts are important, though can lead to a sense of mistrust. How about their privacy? Access to everthing in the world at the tip of their fingers.......

To some, Google AdWords is a complicated pay per click search advertising method that requires some monitoring and certain keyword and placement task to make your ads optimized for the best possible conversion rates. It's similar to placing ads in the newspaper, except you have to make the effort to monitor everything daily and at times weekly.

Now we have Google AdWords Express, a faster, easier, dummy safe way to reach customers on search results with little effort. If you don't have a website but want to take advantage of the Internet on the search engine giant, then Express is the place for you. All you need is a Google Place business listing. Google Places is a FREE online business profile registration that includes your hours, images, website, coupons, map, ratings and now Adwords Express. When using this Express account, Google will add the best keywords and placement for you. They do this because these ads target only LOCAL consumers around your business. This Express advertising allows you to be found over non local business outside the area. This gives you the Local Advantage. These ads cost similar to Adwords and you will still need to set a bid limit per day, or maximum amount.

I highly suggest local businesses to give this a try. Specifically services, restaurants, classes, workshops and other advertising specific ads.

We offer new subscribers FREE Google Adwords & AdWords Express Coupons if you're interested in trying with no risk or payment required subscribe to my blog and get a Free $100 or $105 coupon code.

Google powers the Internet!

There are many out there that can build simple websites. First, get the website off the ground, then onto a host, and ultimately let it sit for a year without any changes, until finally even simple contact changes are required.  This is how most early websites started, and to this day are still operating.  I see tool after tool being developed to remain static. Nine times out of ten business owners are managing their own sites for a cost effective solution(a great idea for many do-it-yourselfers), but the majority are receiving minimal traffic after long hours spent learning to set up the website. Give it not every website is a failure, nor must they rank outside their immediate area / service; creating a simple Internet profile works good enough for most. I feel a comfortable fight to encourage the use of technology.

I'm not ranting to put down anyone's goals or achievements. I myself have learned from years of rookie mistakes. It's what makes the gears turn in our heads. I am enticing website owners today, to "WAKE UP!" Change your website sooner rather than later....maybe it's time to call in a webmaster to maintain a steady line of traffic.

Across the web, as geeks consider building a website they must determine the approach for each individual client. What's the need for continuous monitoring? Is this a build-and-go gig? For most websites, you will find that a continuous hands-on approach must be made to maintain the client's visibility. Websites built for clients to own are meant to be a building block, a tool. I have always considered this tool to be used to maintain a steady ranking and appearance on the web. Once you buy a design tool you must continuously make it better. I have never heard of a successful website idling, waiting for the "Cha Ching" sound from an online order.

Available tools out there now include Joomla, WordpressDrupal, Blogger, to list my top choices. Choose and use them wisely.

Does corporation control your small business?

Owners of a service company for 11 years are now sadly counting the days until it all ends. The company has been operating under the manufacturer's warranty repair service as a third party contractor. They have been subject to continuous financial abuse. All contractor parties are required to sign a NET 30-day payment contract to continue business, which is reasonable. As usual, the contract and the small business owners are being taken advantage of financially. Corporations seem to always submit payment when they want, regardless of the contract agreement of NET 30 days. Do they care about these families involved? Are they going broke? Should we worry about certain sectors possibly having an economic collapse?

It's the everyday struggle every person is experiencing. At least the so called 99%.....

I myself am trying to avoid being categorizes as any percent by ignoring most news media, but that proves impossible.

We always get personal news that these corporations payments can go 30-90 days late! The collection process could be initiated but that immediately terminates contracts in the eyes of the corporation.

Repeat late notices are not effective! So what is a small business to do under the mercy of corporations?

So far, absolutely nothing!

Is this the world we live in? Until corporate control is regulated or some kind of safeguards are in place to protect very small business contractors from wrongful financial abuse, contract business owners can do nothing but wait for that check. The most famous words heard from business owners, since I was a kid, "the check is in the mail"!

We would like to hear opinions from anyone experiencing similar corporate issues and suggestions on what to do. This should make for some good discussions for some helpful small business advice!
